Welcome to SteelDesk.in. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SteelDesk.in website and services. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using SteelDesk.in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. Services Offered
- Tender Intelligence: Aggregation and analysis of publicly available GEM portal tender data for stainless steel, alloy, and valve industries.
- Industrial Calculators: Free engineering calculators for weight, MAWP, wall thickness, hydrotest pressure, EMD, and pipe schedule lookup.
- Quote Generator: Tool for creating quotations with HSN code, GST, and WhatsApp integration.
- WPS + PQR Generator: Welding procedure specification and qualification record generation per ASME Section IX.
3. Subscription Plans & Payments
Some features require a paid subscription:
- Tender Intelligence Pro: ₹4,999/month
- WPS Single Document: ₹299 per document
- WPS Pro (unlimited): ₹4,999/month
- Quote Pro: ₹2,999/month
Payments are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST.
4. Subscription Renewal & Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing info@steeldesk.in. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
5. Use of Tender Data
Tender data on SteelDesk.in is aggregated from the publicly accessible GEM portal (Government e-Marketplace, gem.gov.in). We:
- Do NOT alter, modify, or fabricate tender details
- Display the source tender link for verification
- Are NOT the issuing authority — actual bids must be submitted on gem.gov.in
- Do not guarantee tender award decisions or favourable outcomes
6. Accuracy of Information
- Calculator results are based on standard ASTM/ASME values and should be verified by a qualified engineer for critical applications
- WPS/PQR documents must be reviewed and approved by a certified welding engineer before use in actual production
- Tender data is refreshed every 4 hours; deadlines and values may change at the source
7. User Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, copy, or republish our data without permission
- Use the Service for illegal activities or to misrepresent your business
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Attempt to bypass payment systems or security measures
- Send spam, malware, or harmful content through any submission forms
8. Intellectual Property
All content on SteelDesk.in (excluding publicly sourced tender data and ASTM/ASME standards) including the design, software code, logos, and documentation templates, is owned by SteelDesk.in and protected by Indian copyright laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, SteelDesk.in shall NOT be liable for:
- Business decisions made based on our calculators, quotes, or tender data
- Loss of business opportunities, profits, or tender awards
- Errors in third-party data (e.g., GEM portal) that we relay
- Service interruptions due to hosting, network, or force majeure events
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 3 months.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by emailing info@steeldesk.in.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
